TRANSPORTERS AND DRIVERS’ COUNCIL DONATES RS 2 LAKH FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

Imphal, July 29, 2107 (DIPR): The Transporters and Drivers’ Council (TDC), Manipur donated Rs 2 lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to help and rehabilitate the flood victims.

In a solemn ceremony held today at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, representatives of the Council led by President, TDC, Manipur Shri H. Ranjithanded over the cheque to Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh in the presence of Minister for CAF&PD Shri Karam Shyam.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to all the organisations and individuals who had contributed generous donations to CMRF so far.

Mentioned may be made that Faculties and Staffs of DM College of Science and DM College of Arts have also contributed Rs. 1,29,500 to CMRF today morning. (DIPR)
