Imphal, November 10 (DIPR): Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Shri Letpao Haokip has conveyed heartiest congratulations to boxer and Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha) Shrimati MC Mary Kom on winning Gold at the Asian Boxing Championships at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The indomitable spirit of the ace pugilist from State and Hon’ble MP MC Mary Kom inside and outside the ring is an inspiration for many sportspersons of the State as well as the Country, YAS Minister Shri Letpao Haokip said in a congratulatory message.
“Her unrelenting struggle, her down to earth performance and importantly her achievements have made us proud. She is indeed an embodiment of Manipur women’s power,” Shri Letpao Haokip said.
The Minister then wished the legendary boxer ‘all success’ in her future endeavours. (DIPR)
