Kok Sam Lai Solutions with a core team of four people is providing software solutions in Manipur as a private undertaking. Officially the private limited company emerged on Feb 2012. Earlier ground works were building up and in the beginning they did website development jobs, graphic designing etc including a news portal web www.gomanipur.com. Slowly it has evolved into a software development Company.
Presently it is focusing on software development, testing and implementation, marketing and sales, on the spot training session for users. Kok Sam Lai is also planning to roll out more software products and the group is trying to work in other sectors too. It is also trying to push out its product beyond the State for revenue generation.
Dave Yendrembam – Chief Executive Officer, Harjeet Sinam – Managing Director, Gautam Nongthombam – Director and General Manager Sales and Marketing and Hemam Bishwajeet – Director Engineering are its core member. The Company is giving valuable services and employment to more than a dozen people now. Kok Sam Lai Solutions are currently looking out for more people with talents and experties , currently they requires people in the fields of implementation Engineer , Software developer , Sales and Marketing Manager , HR Manager etc

Bill Station is software applicable for anything that can be sold helping in the growth of business and enhancing efficiency. Manual accounting at the end of the day is made available at the click of a button with the computer. It may take an hour to manually work on the calculation. Thus it saves time and maintains accuracy. It can generate weekly, monthly and yearly accountings or for any given duration of time.
Bill Station is effortless and paperless accounting. With paper it could be a bill slip to a customer helping the later keep an account of expenditures.
“ Some people use to procure such software at a high price from outside the state and we are providing it in a very affordable price and maintenance assistance from the staff stationed in Khuyathong Kok Sam Lai office”, says the office bearers in an interview with Manipur Times.
Happy Belly, The Palace, Route 39, Chicken Boi, Pixel plus, Hueiyen Lanpao , Medicine World are some of the business centres who have already started using BILLStation. The software can take order or memorize and alert an order in time after it is being recorded or entered with specific date.
Kok Sam Lai solutions has a notion of having healthy competition with other IT Companies in Manipur. It also wishes to collaborate with other companies, and aspires to create a network of IT Companies to make Manipur an IT Hub which is expected only when the Many IT companies increases in Manipur.
Sustaining a software company and providing its services in Manipur was one big challenge for Kok Sam Lai. Now 47 Schools are using their product SIMSLite. The first online Sessional Report Card result out for UNACCO School was successfully done with the software. Annual Mark Sheet along with Scholastic report for co-curricular activities of each students were highlighted in detail at the online result out.
Rest of the school also generate information off line on School activities like
1) Admission, 2) Fee collection, 3) Attendance for staffs and students, 4) Time table management, 5) Examination – Result out, Routine, Admit Card, 6) Certification
Guardians of the students were alerted on bandh and blockade through instant sms using the SIMSLite software.
It only takes couple of hours for the users to get adapted with the software. Customer with some basic knowledge of handling computer can easily operate the software. Teachers, fee supervisor, administrator, are trained according to the role assigned in the software which take only an hour or two
Kok Sam Lai trains the school staff using their products and does maintenance including reinstallation at the time of window crash in the school computer where the software is installed. Maintenance is provided in making things efficient at a one-time payment of buying the software at an affordable price. So far the group has no government tie up. The office has prepaid electricity connection with regular electricity and at the time of power shortage solar invertor with UPS gives a backup.
The team launched their latest software Bill Station at Hotel Classic with representatives from various business set ups. The launching session was followed by description of the software and its uses where queries are answered from the team. The product is efficiently working in some of the business set ups and it is expected to gain popular with more people starting to use the product for an effective business transaction and organized functioning of business in and around the State.
Last but not the least ISOR School was the first customer of Kok Sam Lai solutions. With growing number of offices starting to rely on software Kok Sam Lai is making a landmark step towards sensitizing the utility of IT products for efficiency and high tech solutions in the State. For this initiatives the youths behind the company has channelized their positive energy to make a mark of development in the IT Sector visiting various places as far as Tamenglong and implementing their products at the nooks and corner.
